New Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer
Following on from the new Astra Hatchback launch recently, the new Sports Tourer variant arrives hot on it's heels.
The new range includes a simplified range structure with trims including Design, Tech Line, SRi and Elite. The SRi and Elite trims also come with Nav versions which include Navi 900 IntelliLink system and fully integrated European sat nav as standard.
The new model comes with four engines available, 3 petrol and 1 diesel. The petrol variants include the 1.0-litre three-cylinder Turbo Start/Stop ecoFLEX, the 1.4-litre with outputs of 125PS or 150PS, and the range topping 1.6-litre 200PS (only available on SRi and Elite trims). The diesel engine offering includes the 1.6 CDTi engine with outputs of 110PS, 136PS and 160PS BiTurbo.
An Easytronic five-speed automatic transmission gearbox is offered on the 1.0-litre three-cylinder Turbo Start/Stop ecoFLEX in Design trim to lower emissions further to a class-leasing 96g/km of C02. Other 6-speed automatic versions are available on the 1.4l 150PS and the 1.6CDTi 136PS variants.
Every trim level features a high level of standard specification with all models including cruise control, comfort front seats, automatic lighting control, R4.0 IntelliLink system (IntelliLink smartphone projection, seven-inch colour touch-screen, AM/FM/DAB digital radio, Bluetooth audio streaming, Bluetooth mobile phone portal, USB and aux-in audio connection), steering column adjustable for reach and rake and a rear spoiler.
